Audio Processing

All transcription happens locally on your Mac. Your audio files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. This is a core design principle of Shuole.

Account & Authentication

Shuole requires sign-in via Google, Apple, GitHub, or email. We use Supabase for authentication. When you sign in, we receive:

• Your email address
• Basic profile information from your OAuth provider (name, avatar)

We require sign-in to collect usage statistics that help us understand how the app is used and improve the product.

Usage Analytics

We collect usage data via PostHog. This includes:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Feature usage (which stages you run, not the content)
• Session information

We do not collect or transmit your audio content, transcription results, or any personal files.

Data Retention

Authentication data is retained while your account is active. Analytics data is retained as long as necessary to improve the product.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at rzhengphy@gmail.com.
